Roller Skating Jam Named "Sunday"?

This past Sunday was great! First I woke up and enjoyed two cajun chicken biscuits from the breakfast king of the south "Bojangles". Then my fiance' Kim and I headed up to the pool for a little Sunday swim. I'm still a kid when it comes to swimming pools. You know cannon balls, marco polo, and under water tea parties. After the pool we headed in to shower up so we could hit up Kate's Skate to attended a birthday party held for a friend of Kim's little brother. So I called up the homie Dj Supa Skip to see if he would like to join, being the speed skate junkie he is he gladly except. I think you will all be glad to know the skating rink hasn't changed at all. People still enjoy endless amounts of candy will playing video games in the arcade, speed skating competitions are still held for all ages, creepy old dudes are still on patrol for single moms, and the hokey pokey still pops off center rink. The only complaint I have about the whole experience is that the speed skates I rented didn't have soles in them (ouch). So if you are ever in Charlotte be sure to take time and look up Kate's Skate, it may sound corny but trust me it will take you back to the days of Street Fighter, Chewy Sweet Tarts, and Air Brush decor!

Oh yeah: Shout outs to the dj for playing my request of Shannon's "Give Me Tonight".

Ain't No Place I'd Rather Be

Just coming off a week long vacation with Kim and the family it's time to get back on that grind. So Friday morning I woke up and headed to the salon for an action pack day of hair cutting. Next Dj Supa skip and myself carpooled our way to Columbia to deejay, he was at Club Elementz and I was at Tabu Night Club.

Saturday morning was spent sleeping in till about 9:30 and then making edits of new and old music, some of which you will be able to find at www.directmusicservice.com. After about 3 hours of that it was off to help my buddy A.J. move into his new house, he has twin baby girls on the way so it was time for an upgrade in living space (congrats). Now time to shower and head to Suite Nightclub located at the EpiCenter in downtown Charlotte (to dj btw). The Night started off full of request driven middle aged women and soon to be married females (Britney, Bep, and Justin). But to my surprise it turned out to be an excellent night that was capped off with me getting to meet one of my favorite artist Anthony Hamilton, who by the way is super polite and a true gentleman, shaking hands, using words such as please and thank you, and taking pictures with people who asked (like me).

I Gotta Gold Chain (Like it was Easter Sunday)

Yesterday was Easter and my fiance' Kim and I had her family over for a late lunch and family fellowship.  The menu included cured ham, green beans, biscuits, and cup cakes.(yes we live in the south). Never the less it was a great conclusion for an epic weekend.

Oh yeah: Dude Da bunny was at Food Lion in Pineville.

Happy Easter
